I was a strict vegetarian for about 5 years - but then one day my friends and i were at mcdonalds...and that darn big mac just looked soooo tasty...i ate TWO of them on the spot! I still don't eat a lot of meat, but I've learned sometimes you just can't fight your body's natural disposition of being an omnivore!

Our church just sponsored flying a 13 year-old orphan from Liberia to Houston in order for doctors to repair a hand injury he has had since he was 3 years old. When he went to the pediatrician here the doctor said he was healthier than many 13 year-olds he sees. So an orphan from Liberia is healthier than many suburban children in America. What does that say about nutrition in our country? Eating healthy is hard. Convenience makes a poor diet so much easier.
